I offer comprehensive Speech and Language Therapy services to support the assessment and intervention of speech, language, and communication difficulties in school-aged children. This can be provided as a service to your school that is tailored to your school's needs through a service level agreement that can include:
-
Assessment of Speech, Language, and Communication
-
Therapy and Intervention
Sessions can be delivered on a 1:1 basis, in pairs, or in small groups if suitable. Group sessions require parental consent for all children involved. -
Personalised Targets and Programmes
-
Reports and Recommendations
Following each session, I will provide the school’s SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) with updates on the children seen and any next steps. I work closely with the SENCO throughout the contract, maintaining open communication to support the children's development.
Flexible Contract Options
Contracts typically cover the full academic year, with flexible scheduling options for school visits. You can choose weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or half-termly sessions, for full or half days, depending on your school’s needs.
One-Off Assessments and Reports
In addition to ongoing therapy services, I also offer one-off assessments and reports for specific needs, such as Education, Health, and Care (EHC) plan applications or referrals to paediatric services. These assessments are available without a full service level agreement (SLA).
Training
I can offer training packages to suit the needs of your staff without a full service level agreement. These can cover topics such as strategies to support children's language development in the classroom, language and the curriculum, etc.
